Sunday/Monday Posts - September 6th and 7th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

Until I started writing this post I didn't realize how busy I've been on the blog.  I had a few blog tours and meme posts.  Next week I just have one blog tour scheduled but I do have others scheduled throughout September and October.  I'm trying to keep November and December as free as possible but I'm sure those months will fill up too, despite what I'm planning at the moment :)  I must admit, just reading through the list of my upcoming blog tours, I'm really looking forward to these books.  Everything sounds so good.

I saw the new Mission Impossible movie today.  It's the first movie I've actually gone to see in a theater in a long time.  It was a good one and it was fun to go out to see a movie.  Usually we wait for the DVDs to come out.

I'm catching up on my TV.  Fortunately, most of my summer shows are having their season finales at this time of year.  So, more reading time is freeing up, although the fall shows will be here before we know it.

So, what has your week been like?  Reading anything good?  See any good movies or TV shows lately?

Have a great week everyone!

Yvonne

  4. I am so looking forward to the fall season on TV, too; in the meantime, I am bingeing on Netflix, recently getting hooked on Mad Men.

On GH, I was glad to see the Silas Clay murder solved so quickly...most stories go on too long for my taste, like the Jake/Jason reveal.

But I am hooked, so I keep watching.

I am curious about Be My Banshee...enjoy all of your books, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  5. Every time I've been to the movies these last years was to watch children's movies, so I'd be glad to see more adult stuff :) I'm catching up on Poldark, then I have plenty things to watch on Netflix so I guess I'll have plenty of choices. Have a great sunday :)

  6. I have no idea what I will be reading yet. I am finishing up BOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING on audio and slogging through a paranormal mystery. I think I will pick up a Regency next

  7. All those books look good. I've been watching more TV lately, thanks to the time thief that is Netflix. :) I need to figure out what I'm watching in the fall though... I binge watch and then have to find something new ha ha.

Happy Labor Day, have a great week.

  8. I've been cutting back on tours and focusing on whittling down my review pile. I'll live vicariously through you and your tours. :) I can't recall the last movie I saw in the theater; it's been several years. Lol TV though, that I watch and I'm ready for fall shows, thank you Hulu!

  9. The Mission Impossible movie looks good.
I have been trying to enjoy what is left of the summer in taking walks and scenic drives. Can't believe it has come and gone so fast.
    Happy weekend.

  10. I can't remember the last time I actually saw an adult movie at the movie theater! Mission Impossible sounds like a good one to see in the theater and I always enjoy a good action movie. I'm trying to cut back on tours and make some progress in getting my review stack down to a manageable size with mixed results! Have a great week!

  11. I'm looking forward to the fall schedule. I haven't found any movies I want to go see at the theatre. I am waiting on a few though. TV has my favorite shows starting and been watching Fear The Walking dead and The Strain. I spy some fun coizes this week. Must check them out:)
