The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Can you believe it's almost May and summer is right around the corner? I love summer, so I'm happy about that but it just feels as if time is going way too fast. We've been having alot of rain this week, but that just makes nice reading weather :) I did manage to finish three books this week which is great for me. I'm usually a much slower reader.
I've been keeping myself busy with blog tours and memes this week. I even managed to pre-schedule my blog tour posts for May. So, that's out of the way :) Now maybe I can sit back and read some more.
I'm all caught up with TV so that has helped me with my reading. Although I'm still enjoying Survivor and The Blacklist returned. I like that show, too. Since May is sweeps month in TV land, I'm sure all new episodes of my shows will be back. Has anyone been watching Scandal? That show keeps getting crazy. Great episode this past week.
I haven't seen any movies lately, but I don't think there's really anything I want to see. Maybe during the summer there will be some good ones.
Other than that, everything is quiet here. I hope you all are having a great week!
Yvonne

I watch Scandal. I wait for the new seasons to hit Netflix so I haven't seen any of the current season. I watch Survivor, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lot of rain here as well. But the best part of that is when it brings a nice cool front and beautiful sunshiny weather. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cozy mysteries look cute.
Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen
I had never watched Scandal, but when I saw the first five seasons on Netflix, I started in...and was hooked. Now I am watching Season 6 on TV, and caught up with earlier episodes On Demand.
ReplyDeleteLoving it...and wondering what took me so long.
Enjoy your books. Love the cover of Town in a Blueberry Jam.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Yeah at least rain is good for reading. :) And Netflix- ing ha ha. I'm way behind on The Blacklist- like first season. Arg. Although I've started a new show called The Travelers- not bad so far.
ReplyDeleteTown in a Blueberry Jam looks fun.
Town in a Blueberry Jam sounds interesting. I'll have to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteLittle White King looks good. I love Blacklist, I can't wait to see this week's episode.
ReplyDeleteWe are so behind in our viewing. I'll add Blacklist to my list. Ghostal Living looks good.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to be ahead of your posts! Hope it does give you more reading time. At first, I was not sure I liked where Scandal was going, but its better. Glad The Blacklist is back too.
ReplyDeleteTime is passing much too fast. Is there a way to slow it down? :-)

Little White King sounds good. It was a busy week of reading, Girl Scouts, the Mandarin Showcase, and boxing up books. Come see what I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteThree books is great, yay for rain that keeps us indoors reading. Both your present books look very readable.
ReplyDeleteI love cozy mysteries, but I rarely get asked to review any. I must not be in touch with the right people. Girl Who Reads
