The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday Everyone!
It's feeling like summer in New York! I'm loving it, although you never know how long this will last. I'm enjoying it for now.
This warm weather is making me want to look at all my "beach reads" and organize them to be read in the next few months. What is your definition of a "beach read"? For me, I always think of light reading - cozy mysteries, romances and chick lit type of books. I especially like when they are set in a beach or island location. Anything that makes me feel like I'm on the beach reading, even if I'm not :)
The current TV season is winding down. Scandal has really been good lately so I've been enjoying that. I've also been liking the Chicago shows - Fire, P.D. and Med. Three great shows. Then, there's my Survivor addiction. After all these years, I'm still loving that show.
So, what's been going on with everyone else? Read or see anything good lately? Have a great week!
Yvonne

ReplyDeleteNow that I'm hooked on Scandal, the season will be ending. But then I can watch the Chicago shows...on Netflix? Amazon Prime?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and enjoy your reading. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Happy Sunday, Yvonne! I like your definition/description of a beach read. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are having a warm day here as well, with a breeze, which is lovely. Enjoy your reading this week!
The warm weather didn't last here...2 days almost hitting 90(too hot for spring) and now back to 50's lol Love the look of all those cozies!
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying the Chicago shows too. It will be cool here the first part of the week and I hope spring will stay!
ReplyDeleteI was immediately drawn to Plain Cee so will look it up. "Beach" reads I'll read anytime so even in my winter I'll go for them!
ReplyDeletePlan Cee is good, I loved Plan Bea too.
ReplyDeleteSo many good looking mysteries. Saturday was my the junior to cadette bridging ceremony in San Francisco. My daughter and I are sore and sunburnt from our adventure but we had fun. Come see what I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're having nice weather! We get little peeks of sun in between all the rain showers lol. Been a rainy few weeks. Town in a Blueberry Jam looks fun. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really been feeling like summer in Ohio, too, but it's now been doing a lot of raining to make up for it.
