The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday!
Well, April has arrived and the weather is looking very similar to March. Hopefully tomorrow will be better as that is what they are predicting.
I finished a couple of books this week. Both were really good. One was out of my genre but what a lovely change. I loved every minute of the book (The Eye of Nefertiti). Probably because the main character is a cat :) My upcoming reading schedule is crazy as usual, but it looks like many good reads coming up.
Does anyone belong to Kindle Unlimited? Do you think it's worth it?
I've been catching up with my TV shows. Bones had their series finale. The show hasn't been as good as it was in the past, but I was still enjoying it. It's not like I don't have a lot of other shows to keep me busy. I love to watch my shows when I exercise. I kill two birds with one stone :)
It's been pretty quiet around here. I'm looking forward to the baseball season starting this week. Hope the weather cooperates.
Have a great week!

I'm currently reading...
I'm finished reading...
I added these books from NetGalley (I really need to stay away from there - LOL)...
These books are all coming up for review requests and blog tours:
I have not watched Bones for some time :/
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I saw some of those on Netgalley myself, but I was able to resist this time.
ReplyDeleteMy son told me yesterday that Bones was ending, and I said, "I didn't even know it was still on." That goes to show how much I've been paying attention to TV. Lol.
Have a great week!

I hope your weather improves, Yvonne. It is very pleasant where I live, except maybe for the high winds. Hopefully they will die down soon. I love the cover for Magick and Mayhem!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week, Yvonne. Happy reading!
You have Lots of goodies in this post! Happy reading! I'm a blog follower and you can find my post for StS here if you'd like to stop by.
ReplyDeleteI am currently enjoying 2 months of Unlimited for free. Do you know how many books I have read? ZERO! My tbr is still too big! The Eye of Nefertit has me curious! Hope your weather warms.
ReplyDeleteAnything with cats, and I'm in. I added The Eye Of Nefertiti to my Goodreads TBR, but I want to read the The Pharaoh's Cat first. I don't have Kindle Unlimited, but I think it could be a good thing if it has the books you want. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Bones finale, but am glad it is done. There are so many other shows to watch. Glad it was a good reading week for you.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of great books you got there!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!

ReplyDeleteI also love the look of Ashes.
Enjoy your books, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Why would you want to belong to Kindle Unlimited with all these great books to read. I might read the new Julie James at some point I hope. And the Jane Green!
ReplyDeleteSo many great looking books. It's Monday, What Are you reading?
