The Weekend Review - October 20th through 22nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Fall is here and the weather is finally starting to match the season.  It's a bit chilly, but the sun is shining and the colors are so pretty.

Another busy week on my blog.  I really intended for October to be a spooky read month, but it somehow is turning into a Christmas read month.  LOL  I really didn't plan for that but between blog tours, reviews and library books coming in, it just turned out that way.  The good thing is that all the books I have been reading have been good ones.  Not a bad one in the bunch.  I've been very lucky in my choices.

I'm falling behind in my TV viewing, but that's okay.  Lately I've been preferring my books anyway.

Other than that my days have been quiet.  How was your week?

Yvonne

  4. I haven't started fall reading myself. Our weather has been wacky. I wanted to do more horror reading for this month just haven't got to do that with school. What can you do. Looks like some great books you got. Enjoy them all.

  5. I'm enjoying the cooler weather, too. I hope you liked Santa Puppy; that's on my Kindle to read soon. I wanted to read more October/Halloween books this month, but I'm so far behind on everything, it looks like only one or two.

Have a wonderful week and enjoy those new review books!

  6. I need to read more from Hildebrand's Winter series. On my new laptop, I'm discovering, Amazon doesn't tell me what and when I've purchased a book, so I guess I'll check on Goodreads. Or maybe I won't find the information there either! I know I read at least one in the series.

Enjoy your week, and hopefully mine will be better than last week. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. I’m glad you’re enjoying your books. I’ve read a few really good ones recently, too. I’m also behind on TV. Boring work stuff is taking up all of my time.
