The Weekend Review - March 30th-April 1st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Easter to all those who are celebrating!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Overall, it's been a quiet week for me.  Nothing much is happening, but I'm okay with that.  I could use a break.

I finished two good books this week.  Unfortunately, I got behind on my March books.  I'm hoping to do a little catching up in the next month.

My TV shows have all been good - The Good Doctor, Survivor, Chicago Fire, MED, PD, and Tracker.  A pretty full TV week for me.

I hope everyone has a great upcoming week!

These books are on my list for April.  Some are carryovers from March.  I doubt I'll be able to read them all, but I'll give it a try.

Here is this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  3. Those are some fun book titles. I especially like Every Time I Go on Vacation Someone Dies!

Quiet weeks can be the best. We need time to rest and recuperate, I think.

  8. March was a challenging reading month for me. I feel like I've gotten behind on reading and am approaching a slump. I'm going to do some mood reading in April to recharge things a bit. I hope you'er getting back in track. Have a great week!

  11. Long as you enjoy what you read that's what is important, even if you don't get through as many as you'd like.

I’ve gotten a little behind too with 2 March books to read still. A couple of your April books have caught my attention.

  13. I'd like to read Hollywood Hustle just because I'm a big GH fan and have watched the author on it for years. I have become more disappointed in Chicago PD this year and have almost stopped watching it completely. Only character is still care for is Kim. Hope you have a great week.

  14. Quiet weeks are the best weeks! I'm further behind on my review stack than I want to be but am getting used to it. I liked Rythm and Clues. Every Time I Go on Vacation, Someone Dies is on my stack for "really soon now" books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
