The Weekend Review - April 20th-22nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I've been slowly getting back into the swing of things since returning from vacation.  I'm not fully there yet, but I'm getting there.

I only finished one book this week and it was a good one.  I'm actually caught up on my TV shows.  I didn't think that would happen.  I even watched a movie.  It was Night Swim.  It was a good horror type movie.  Now, I'll mainly be alternating between reading and watching baseball as the current TV season comes to an end.

Not much else is happening here.  I'm glad about that.  I could use a quiet week.

I hope you all have a great upcoming week!

These books are still on my list for April.  I doubt I'll be able to read them all, but I'll give it a try.

Here is this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  14. It's always a little hard to get back into the swing of things from vacation. I always feel better when I'm caught up on TV, but that's probably a sign my priorities are out of whack.

  23. Looks like you had a good week. I like quiet weeks. I like catching up on TV shows then feel empty when I don't have anything to watch 😂 it's the same with books.
