Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about dust jackets.
Do you prefer books with a dust jacket? What do you do with your dust jacket while reading? Leave it on or take it off? (Question courtesy of Kim from Page after Page)
I don't get many hardcovers. They are too expensive, plus I prefer the size of a paperback. However, on the few hardcovers I get, I like the dust covers and I keep them on the book.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I love hard cover books!!
ReplyDeleteHere is mine
I don't often purchase hardcover books either--unless they are significantly discounted. I do take the dust jacket when I'm reading a hardcover. I transport my books so frequently and the covers easily get damaged if I don't.
ReplyDeleteHi there!
ReplyDeleteI collect dust jackets - and of course the books in them! :)
Here is my answer.
I'm the same way, when I do buy books, I tend to buy either old ones or paperbacks.

I don't care one way or the other. It's what is on the inside that counts. :) Here's Mine.
ReplyDeleteOn a coincidental note, my Dad just reminded me of two tips concerning dust jackets, one obvious, the other quite handy.
