The blog hop is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy-for-Books
This week's question...
“What is your favorite spooky book (i.e. mystery/suspense, thriller, ghost story, etc.)?”
My answer...
This is my favorite genre so I've certainly read my fair share of spooky books. It's hard to choose just one, but if I have to choose, I pick two books by new-to-me authors...
You can check out my reviews of both books, by clicking the titles...
The Summoner by Layton Green
The Shepherd by Ethan Cross

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I am so looking forward to the answers from others like us who love these genres.
ReplyDeleteI have The Shepherd on my Kindle already. I need to look at the Summoner.
Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteI have already reviewed 'The Summoner' as well and thought it was a fantastic book, certainly falls into the spooky category no problem!
If you enjoyed that one, have your read Layton Green's next 'Dominic Grey' adventure 'The Egyptian', if anything that was even better?
I haven't read 'The Shepherd' but that looks like it might be worth reading at some point, I can see why it may have been likened to 'The Silence Of The Lambs'. The great review you did definitely helped with my decision to add this to my reading list.

'The Summoner' has a very ominous looking cover!! Great picks.
ReplyDeleteThe Summoner is quite good...forgot about that one. Very spooky.
