Sunday/Monday Posts - March 16th and 17th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

Happy Sunday and Monday Everyone!

It's been a busy month at Socrates' Book Reviews with all the new March cozies being released.  A big thank you to Berkley Prime Crime Mysteries for giving me a chance to host these giveaways.  It's been fun.  I will still be doing them, but not quite as many as I've been doing.  I need to give myself some time to do other things :)

Next week I only have two blog tours scheduled.  I'm hoping to catch up on a few book review requests and learn to pace myself a little better than I've been doing.  We'll see how that works out.

The weather is actually getting warmer.  So perhaps Spring really is just around the corner.

I hope you all had a great week and have a good one this week!

Yvonne

  1. Thanks for hosting so many wonderful book giveaways.
Yvonne, I hope the week ahead is filled with quality reading time for both of us. I've been too busy lately, and feel as if I need more time for reading.

  12. Got an ARC of Load the Boat and enjoyed it. The theme is square dancing, but it didn't overwhelm the story which had a good plot.

  13. Ah, pacing yourself. What a concept! It seems like I routinely say yes to review requests despite my heavy review calendar. But I have no willpower and the books sound so good. Come see what I did last week here. Have a wonderful week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
