Sunday/Monday Posts - February 14th and 15th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Hello Everyone!

I don't know how it is where you are but here it's freezing.  We're having ridiculously low temps and now they say we are going to get another 7 inches of snow...when is spring going to get here already?

I've been enjoying my TV shows and books.  I'm not reading very fast but I'm reading some excellent cozy mysteries and watching great TV shows.  What else do I need?

Besides the disgusting weather, not much else is going on around here.  I just need to find more reading time somehow, but I know many of you have the same problem.

I hope you all have a great week, read many great books and stay warm, if you are in this cold weather!

Yvonne

  1. TV has definitely been getting me lately! There's just too many great shows and too many great books so I feel all pulled to pieces. Stay warm with all that awful weather and have a great week!

  3. We never had any real snow this winter ! Twice, we caught some snowflakes falling but they rapidly melted, so no snowman :( This week, we're beginning to have crazy march weather, sun and blue sky, then wind and rain, cold, average temperates, all in the same day. Stay warm and cozy at home, have a great week ;)

  5. Books and cable are the only way to get through this unpleasant weather. It's my excuse for spending so much time on the sofa.

  9. I love reading and TV...and the occasional movie. I read less this week, but savored each one. I almost hate to say that it feels like spring here...but I know we'll still get some rain and maybe even storms. Not snow, however. Sorry....

Enjoy your week...I love the look of The Case of the Killer Divorce.

  12. We're freezing too. My skin is so dry from it. We were supposed to get two feet of snow and a huge blizzard but it stopped about 50 miles south of us. We got just a few3 more inches - but we have enough already.

  14. We're only just starting to get decent TV shows recommencing here in Australia after the summer non-ratings period.

And yes, it's been summer here but it's nearly over. Thankfully! I'm looking forward to winter, but having said that, ours is very mild!
