The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Weekend!
The heat and humidity are still sticking around here, but now we are getting lots of rain added to the mix. Not the best summer weather this year. So, the a/c remains on and I have a nice, comfy place to read and watch my shows.
I've become addicted to the mystery movies on the Hallmark Channel. They've all been fun. Of course I mostly read mysteries, too. I'm enjoying both.
I continue to be reading great books and clearing stuff out of the house. The downsizing is going a bit slower than I'd like because of all the humidity we've been having. I'd rather just sit in the a/c with my books, computer and TV :)
It's been a quiet week here. How has your week been?
Yvonne

Here are this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.
These books are coming up for reviews/blog tours in the next couple of months:
Dismal rain here too, although cool which is good as we don't have aircon.
ReplyDeleteThat Creme Brulee title made me chuckle as I saw League Of Gentlemen last night and one of their characters was in a band of that name! (LoG is a dark British comedy show that I love)
I haven't seen a Hallmark movie in a while. A friend of mine gave me a Christmas list of movies so hopefully this year I can relax with some Hallmark. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Hallmark Mysteries are always really good. I hope you enjoy the new books and you week ahead as well.
ReplyDeleteI recently finished Not Her Daughter...it kept me glued to the pages.
ReplyDeleteI love those Hallmark Mysteries, too, and I especially enjoy when there are new ones on every Sunday.
The marathons are fun, too.
Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Lots of awesome cozy mysteries! I hope you love them all. I want to read Not Her Daughter. I hope it's good!
ReplyDeleteMary Sunday Roundup #31!
Good luck with the downsizing. Watching movies in the air conditioning sounds amazing right now. Have a great week. Enjoy your new books.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
It rained here all week but the sun came out Saturday and I've been enjoying the pool. Been watching some wonderful southern movies. Steel Magnolia's and Fried Green Tomatoes were top of the list. Stay cool and enjoy those fun looking books:)
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Same here, I have been staying in reading in the a/c. And binge watching This Is Us.
ReplyDeleteSeriously...so much rain...and I've never seen so many lawns full of mushrooms before! lol I have been getting into the Hallmark Mysteries too..especially the Aurora Teagarden ones...maybe I should check out the books?
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Glitter Bomb. Hallmark does have some good mystery movies. I love the Aurora Teagarden and Hailey Dean ones. Also the ones that star Jewell. I blame the humidity for not doing much on the weekends. I hope we actually get a fall this year. In fact, I'd be happy to have fall all year round!
ReplyDeleteI love the Hallmark movies! The Garage Sale Mysteries are my favorite. Though I like pretty much all of them. I'm about done with humidity as well. I don't mind heat but it's sooo humid. I really enjoyed Four Funerals and Maybe a Wedding and I really want to read Tail of the Dragon. Have a great week!
