The Weekend Review - November 18th-20th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

In the U.S. it's Thanksgiving week which means we only have another month until the end of the year.  It's so hard to believe how fast time is flying, but it is.

I finished two books this week and really enjoying my reading time.  From what I've read, my TV shows will be returning in February so I have more reading time to look forward to.

I set up the reading challenges I'll be hosting in 2024.  The links are in my sidebar.  I hope many of you can join.  I still have to decide which reading challenges I'm going to be joining.  As always I'll be signing up with Goodreads' challenge again.  I always enjoy that one.  Although I think I'm going to fall short this year.  We'll see.  I still have time.

I wish all those celebrating Thanksgiving a very happy holiday and have a great week!

  11. The year is really speeding by -- it feels like every year goes faster, somehow! Here's hoping 2024 will be good.

A cosy mystery challenge, ooh... I'm usually too scatterbrained to read for challenges, but I should think about that -- I love my cosy mysteries.

    Here's my STS!

  12. I have Coconut Drop Dead on my TBR list. I love the title of that one. Lol. I will be participating in Cruisin' the the Cozies challenge again next year. Since I'll be buying an e-reader this week and I'm much more open to e-books than I was last year, I'm planning to sign up for NetGalley. So maybe I'll participate in that challenge as well. I'll have to look into Edelweiss. Happy Thanksgiving!! :)

  15. I’m hoping to read Death In The Dark Woods before the end of the year too! I loved the first book, A Death in Door County. I thought the author did a great job depicting Door County in the book. I hope you have a great reading week!

  20. Happy Thanksgiving! I'm just getting around to visiting my blog friends this week---apologies for being so late to the table.

I need to start deciding what challenges I'd like to participate in next year, too. I'd like to find a way to participate more fully in the ones I choose.

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
