This week’s musing asks…
Do you prefer hardcovers, trade paperbacks (the bigger ones), or mass market paperbacks (the smaller ones)? Why?
My answer....
Definitely mass market paperbacks. They are easier for me to hold and transport. I can easily slip one in my pocketbook when I go out. Also, we travel alot and they are easier to pack. I, also, have a huge TBR so it's easier to store the mass market sized books. This is the huge reason I love my Nook so much. The storage and traveling part are eliminated :) My Nook has everything on it.
The other thing, to be honest, is the cost. Hardcovers and trades can be too costly (although, lately, mass market can be just as much or close to it).
What do you prefer?

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

For me, it all depends. My full answer is here.
ReplyDeleteI like them all however, I do have my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYour answers make a lot of sense...hey, love the cat video!

Click on my name....
I hate mass market, most are just to tiny for my taste. I love my Kindle for the same reasons you love your Nook.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy a Hardcover of my favourite authors though.
If I borrow from the library, I like hardcovers ;). I like trade for their size as well. I am with Marce, sometimes the mass are too small for these eyes. My cat used to do the same thing! I miss her.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely tradesize for me. Mass market are too small and hardcovers are too bulky for the bus. My Nook is nice for my commute as well.....
ReplyDeleteI hate mass market paperbacks. But I love e-books. :)
ReplyDeleteI like mass too, trade are ok though, but mass pb are cheaper and smaller. Hard backs are just so big
ReplyDeleteI prefer the mass paperbacks too because they are lighter to carry in my bag. I like your kitty video! My Manny has been walking in front of my computer lately but at least hasn't laid on my fingers yet!
ReplyDeleteGood answer:) Here is mine:

Whatever is cheapest if I'm not traveling, although if all three were the same price in front of me, I'd pick mass market...or Kindle. If I'm traveling, Kindle, hands down. Even if I have several books on hand, these days, I pretty much only take the kindle and whatever is loaded on it. I do make sure there are several choices before leaving and they have to be reasonably priced!

love the trades...hate the mas market. yes, the type is often too small, the spines crack, I find them awkward to hold.
