Sunday/Monday Posts - May 10th and 11th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews

Happy Sunday and Monday Everyone!  A Very Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday and having a great week!

My blog was pretty busy this week with tours and giveaways.  There are still four book giveaways going on and still a chance to enter.  Just click on the giveaway button in my sidebar.

I'm not doing all that well with the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge.  I only completed one and I seem to be stuck in a reading slump.  I started three different books and liked them all, but just couldn't concentrate on reading for some reason.  It's no fault of any of the books, though.  It's just one of those slumps and I'll be okay as long as it doesn't last long.  I hate those reading slumps that seem to last for weeks...I'm sure most of you know the ones I'm talking about.

I saw Saving Mr. Banks this week and that was a really good movie.

So, what have you all been up to?  Reading anything good?  Seeing any good TV or movies?

Yvonne

  1. I really want to see Saving Mr. Banks...have heard such great things about it! Guidebook to Murder looks good - is it a cozy?

  6. All of your cozies look so tempting!

I was in a bit of a slump yesterday, trying to decide which e-book to read...I'd start one, then another...I finally settled on one!

I don't like when they don't have "real page numbers," because sometimes the choice might depend on that piece of info! And yes, I could look it up....but when I'm sitting there with my Kindle, I don't want to do that! LOL

Enjoy your day and your week...here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES

    1. I'm the same way...I like real page numbers and it's not always convenient to go looking it up.

  7. Ah, reading slumps, boo. Maybe take a break from reading for a day or two?

I have Murder is Academic in my TBR pile, and hoping I'll enjoy it. It's for a tour.

I'm doing okay with my ARC challenge but I hit a slump too last week. Blargh. We'll get there! Though it would help if I stopped adding books. :D

Yes, it would help if I stopped adding books, too. I just need to catch up but I can't resist.

  11. I finally decided that my slump was due to trying to read review books that I wasn't wild about. I'm trying something different for a while.
