It's that simple.

I am currently reading...

This is from page 56 of my Nook ebook...

"Could a woman have been powerful enough to do that kind of damage?"

  1. I don't care for these really cartoon-y covers. It makes me tend to dismiss the book in general. I look forward to your review on this one because I'd hate to miss a good mystery because I'm too busy judging a book by it's cover!

    1. I almost passed on this because of the cover, I'm not a fan of cartoony covers either. But the blurb for this one sold me.

  2. I just started this one also.

  3. My initial response is of course she can! But then it is a mystery and I'm probably defending the capabilities of a female murderer. Yikes.

  4. Oh, I love this author! I don't like the cover, but the insides will be good....thanks for sharing.

    Here's “ONE KICK”

  5. The cover makes me think this is an environmental mystery, told with humor. Maybe it's the fish's tongue sticking out. I hope you enjoy the story.

  6. Reading that beginning, I would keep reading.....

Here is my Book Beginning post!!

    What a 56!!

    Here is my Friday 56post!!

  7. Funny title. But the 56 I liked... never underestimate a woman!

    Happy weekend!

  8. I actually like the cartoony cover on this one, I'm not sure why but I do. Love the 56 by the way, I wonder what damage was done? Was it done to a person? A car?
