Booking through Thursday - Unread

This week's question...

An idea I got from The Toddled Dredge (via K for Kat). Here’s what she said:

“So here today I present to you an Unread Books Challenge. Give me the list or take a picture of all the books you have stacked on your bedside table, hidden under the bed or standing in your shelf – the books you have not read, but keep meaning to. The books that begin to weigh on your mind. The books that make you cover your ears in conversation and say, ‘No! Don’t give me another book to read! I can’t finish the ones I have!’ “

My answer...

As I've said in the past, my TBR numbers in the 1000's, so it's impossible for me to list all my unread books right here, but these are the ones I'm most anxious to read in the near future. Not that I will necessarily get to them in the near future, but the ones I'm pushing to get read soon :)

By James Patterson:

All the Women's Murder Club books from #6 through #8.
The Quickie

By Janet Evanovich:

All the Stephanie Plum books from #14 through #15 (includes Plum Spooky)

8 Sandpiper Way by Debbie Macomber

  1. Wow -- in the 1000's? I probably have that many that have caught my fancy but I haven't kept track.

Hope you get to these ones soon!

  2. It seems we all have those huge TBR books to get through!

    Here is my BTT post!

  3. Oh my, that would have been many photos from me. Most of my own books are unread, and some go way back...I will read day ;)

  4. I had just the same problem - my TBR list is much too long to include on my blog. No one would want to spend that much time reading it anyway. Lately, I'm a little afraid to take a look at it myself! One of these days, I'm going to get around to James Patterson and Janet Evanovich - haven't read anything by either of them yet.

  5. I just finished 8th Confession last night and it was good, but I didn't like The Quickie.

  6. Hi Yvonne:

I have nominated you for an award! You may pick it up here:

  7. Wow, 1000 books? That makes me feel a little better about my 350. Not much though. I bet you have some fantastic books waiting for you!

  8. I think I would go nuts if my TBR list was in the 1000's. I wouldn't even know how to tackle it. Good luck.

    My BTT is here.

  9. There's probably hundreds that I want to read, but I don't have room in my house for all of them! I listed the ones I actually have sitting around getting ignored! I'm reminded that I have some great books!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
