Sunday/Monday Posts - April 27th and 28th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

Happy Sunday and Monday Everyone!

I really, really, really can't believe it's almost May.  Where does the time go?

I've been reading quite a bit and watching so much TV, too.  I'm not sure how I've been able to fit it all in but I have.  I'm really excited because it's only a little more than one week until 24 begins!  Yay!  Oddly enough I just finished reading Mr. Monk Gets On Board - a TV show I never watched, but I'm loving it through the books. I will be hosting a blog tour for it next week and that's when I'll post my review, but what a great series!

I'm participating in the Clean Sweep ARC Reading Challenge in May.  I will make a post for it during the week with a list of what I'm hoping to read.  I really need to go through my list of books and I have tons of lists.

So, what about you guys?  Read anything good lately?  See any good movies? Watch any good TV?

I hope you all had a great week and have a good one this week!

Yvonne

I finished reading...

I'm currently reading...

These are the books still waiting for me to read, but I will end up carrying them over into May. I have to sit down and look at the blog tours I have coming up and see what kind of reading schedule to make.  So I'm not even sure when I'll get to read these or what's next on my agenda.  Why I make deciding what to read next so difficult for myself is beyond me, but I do.

What was your week like? What are you reading this week?

  1. You reminded me that I need to write up my post for the ARC challenge also.

I wasn't a fan of the Monk show but a friend of mine was and also enjoys the books. Maybe I'll try one.

The Perfect Stranger looks scary; I don't think I've read any of her books yet. Enjoy!

  5. I can't believe it's nearly May either. Time flies.
I've been listening to an audio book called the 19th Wife at night and I'm reading a vampire paranormal romance called Blood Tears.
    Happy Sunday!

  6. My younger son just came up to me and said, "Are you reading more books?" I answered, "Not right now. I'm reading emails and blog posts about books." "So, I guess that means you are gonna read more?" (books) "Yeah." *lol*

He's not much for reading print books but he LOVES his Kindle and e-books, so I'm torn between reading my own stuff and letting him have at it, KWIM? Have a great week, Yvonne!

  9. I am looking forward to 24 too! I got hooked on so many shows (via netflix and amazon prime) that I need to decide which ones I really want to continue with or I'd be in front of the TV all day. Have a great week.

  10. I'm looking forward to 24 too, so cool it's almost here. :)

The Bali Mystery sounds good, exotic locations are always nice...

  11. I don't know what the TV program 24 even is! But as I don't live in USA that isn't surprising - although others who live in NZ may know. My weakness is Guiliana and Bill on E! I love Guiliana she is such fun. I am enjoying the new Veep too.

Lots of books here, I haven't read a cozy mystery yet, but there is always a first time and will read one for a reading challenge later in the year.

  12. Ive been watching far too much TV as well, Netflix is addictive! Right now I am watching the last few seasons of Flashpoint. They only ever played season 1&2 here, so I am watching 3,4 & 5

    Have a great reading week

  13. I always quite liked the tv show Monk, although I only watched it when I accidentally stumbled on it. I've also been watching a disgusting amount of TV lately, which has interfered with my reading and university work! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you enjoy all of your books!
