Sunday/Monday Posts - June 4th and 5th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It's so hard to believe we are in June already.  We are having a beautiful summery type weekend.  The week isn't looking too good with rain coming our way, but I'll enjoy this lovely weather while we have it.

I'm sort of hitting a reading slump.  I started three different books and couldn't get into them - all are exactly my type of book so I know it's just me.  I think I need to take a breather from reading for a day and then, hopefully, it will get me back in the reading mood.  I really think it's a mood thing for me.

As far as my TV viewing goes...I still have a few shows to catch up with on my DVR, but I stopped to finish watching Breaking Bad.  I finished up that show a couple of days ago and it was an excellent show.  It's no longer on the air, but it is well worth watching all five seasons.  I still have to watch the last season of Bloodline.  Right now I'm watching the first season of Riverdale on Netflix.  It's better than I thought it would be.  Since I love mysteries and this show is about a murder mystery, that's why it has my attention.  I still have a few episodes to watch.

I do need to catch up on blog stuff, though.  So, what has everyone else been up to lately?  Read or watch anything good?  Hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  8. I want to start Riverdale and plan to catch up on Bloodlines during my vacation week. Right now my series viewing is going to be busy. Warching new episode of Fear The Walking Dead right now and waiting for more of The Walking Dead and Preacher soon.
I started several books I thought I'd enjoy and set them aside. Picked up a favorite reread to get my mojo back:)

  14. I hope that reading slump will be over soon. I find taking a break does help so that I come back fresh. You have some great looking books, one day I'll read the new Jane Green.
