The Weekend Review - November 24th - November 26th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

I hope all those celebrating Thanksgiving had a lovely holiday.  My husband and I had a nice quiet dinner for two.  Too much food, of course, but it was all good.  It was the coldest Thanksgiving since 1901 here.  Brrrr...Fortunately, I spent it inside :)

I've been busy catching up on my reading and TV.  I've been doing a good job of it too.  I need to read 11 more books to get to my Goodreads reading challenge goal off 100 for 2018.  I think I should be able to do it, but it will be close.

Nothing new to report from here.  It's pretty much the same old stuff.  I just can't believe Thanksgiving is already over and we have just one more month left to the year.  It really does go fast, doesn't it?

I hope you all have a great week!

The next books I will be reading...

I'm finished reading...

Here are this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

These books are coming up for reviews and/or blog tours in the next couple of months:

  1. Your Thanksgiving sounds great! Lots of food and quiet time. Stay warm!

Enjoy your books. I like the look of the cozies...and also Lies, Love, & Breakfast at Tiffany's. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

  2. I can't believe how fast time flies indeed :)

  3. Glad you and your husband had a nice dinner! I can't believe we only have one more month of year too! Time sure does fly by fast!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays and Cover Spotlight!

  4. Our Thanksgiving was cold too, but it warmed up Fri and Sat. Have a great week of reading.

  5. Corgi week. I love it. I am trying to get my daughter to read more of these mysteries with dogs in them since she loves books about dogs.

    Have a great week!

  6. It’s been freezing and windy lately. I’ve been staying in the house and stuffing myself with Thanksgiving leftovers. I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving. Have a great week!

Aj @ Read All The Things!

  7. This year has gone by quickly. I hope your kitties scored some turkey on Thanksgiving. :)

  8. Argh, I guess it really is time for a Christmas book or two.

  9. The Au Pair is tempting....
    My post is here:

  10. Each year seems to go faster than the one before! Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  11. Glad you had a nice dinner! There's always too much food but I enjoy living off leftovers for a few days! I'm behind on my goal as well though to be honest I'm not sure if I have any hope of hitting it! Have a great week!

  12. Enjoy your christmas reads, I want to fit in at least one very soon. Lovely cover on the Susan Schild book.

  13. The year coming to an end has been incredibly fast.

  14. My son and I had a similar Thanksgiving. It was wonderful! And I've also been binging some shows and watching some holiday movies. Getting in the mood now:)

  15. I reached my Goodreads goal over the holiday. Lots and lots of reading. My weekly update

  16. Our Thanksgiving was like yours only the cold, rainy weather was the week before. Thanksgiving was more like autumn, now it's cold again. But tomorrow will get back to autumn which is good because it's time to rake more leaves.

Good luck on your reading goal! Anne - Books of My Heart
