Book Beginnings on Fridays/The Friday 56 - March 29th

This is a fun meme to do hosted by Freda's Voice. If you'd like to join on the fun go to The Friday 56.

*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader.
*Find any sentence that grabs you.
*Post it.
*Link it here.

It's that simple.

I'm also joining in Book Beginnings on Friday. It's hosted by Rose City Reader.

I am reading this one now. This is from the E-ARC ...

Two Witches Winery, Penn Yan, New York

It was a a little past eleven in the morning, Tuesday to be precise, and I couldn't believe what I heard when I walked into the Two Witches Winery tasting room. At first, I thought it was a joke, but when I saw our manager, Cammy, and her crew hanging festive tea lights around the huge fireplace, I realized they were serious about the holiday music that filled the entire room.

The Friday 56...

"As fascinating as that sounds, I've got a full plate at the winery. Not to mention a strict deadline for my screenplay. I was lucky I could squeeze today's venture into my schedule."

  1. I like the setting and I'm always intrigued by mysteries in wineries. Thanks for sharing, and here's mine: “ALL THE WRONG PLACES”

  2. Oh my, I grew up near Penn Yan. Obviously I need to look up this book.

  3. Intriguing cover! The teasers are great too. This week I am spotlighting Grave Destiny by Kalayna Price. Happy reading!

  4. Wine and mystery, I'm sold!! LOL Looks and sounds like a great read!
I added you to the Linky. Happy weekend!

  5. I love the sound of this and I love the author! I read the first in this series but remember nothing about it. I might need to refresh a bit.
