The Weekend Review - March 9th-11th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

It may be cold here, but it's getting better and I just know Spring will be here :)  I'm trying to be optimistic :)

I did finish a couple of good books.  I found an audio book that I enjoy listening to.  It's In Pieces by Sally Field and she narrates it herself.  I'm finding it very interesting.

I'm even catching up on TV.  I do want to go back to watching the Hallmark mystery movies, but first I want to catch up on my regular shows.  A new show I'm enjoying is Whiskey Cavalier.  I've enjoyed both of the actors on other shows and this if a fun one too.

I'll be unplugged for a couple of weeks, but I'll be back soon.  Hope everyone has a great week!

Yvonne

These books are coming up for reviews and/or blog tours in the next couple of months:

  1. Your books look good. I enjoyed In Pieces, and I think I might be able to do an audiobook for a memoir like that.

I'm still not convinced audio would work for me in general, though.

I haven't tried Whiskey Cavalier, but the previews look like fun.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  2. I enjoyed the Laura Childs. The method of murder was definitely unique! I've really been enjoying the Hallmark mysteries. The Chronicle series is my favorite I think but I've always loved cold cases so I might be a little biased!

  5. What is Whisky Cavalier? Have heard about, but no idea what it is.

  6. I read In Pieces but I would imagine the narrating by her on audio would just take it up a whole notch for sure.

  7. I loved Sally Fields, maybe I still do. I wonder if I would like her audiobook, too. My Sunday Salon post
