Sunday Salon - Happy Mother's Day!

I had a pretty good week. Here are the books I finished...

Twilight by Stephenie Meyers (audio) - I enjoyed it, but I don't see what the big fuss is with this book, but I'll listen to the next one and see if I feel any differently.

Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart by Beth Pattillo - Excellent! It has me interested in reading more books that are based on Jane Austen and/or her books.

Making the Rounds by David Dosa, MD - Very touching, sweet book.

My latest addiction is my Barnes & Noble Nook ereader. I never ever thought I'd be so hooked on ebooks. With the latest Nook update, we can now spend an hour a day reading books for free at Barnes & Noble. I work right across the street from B&N, so guess where I spend my lunch hour? It's wonderful! I used to spend my lunch hour buying books, now I read them for free. Not to mention that it's a great break from a hectic work day.

I just started reading Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris. It's about time I got back to this series although I'm sure I won't complete the challenge in time. That's alright, though. I do enjoy the series.

I hope all the moms out there have a great day!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

  2. I am not a Twifan, they are just so poorly written, and the others are just boring

  3. Book Dilettante - I always keep my cats inside. There are too many dangers out there for them. Hope you have a great Mother's Day!

Blodeuedd - Twilight was okay, but I just didn't think it was as special as I keep hearing. I guess with all the hype I was expecting one of the best books ever written.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
