We were away this week visiting family in Florida. We had a great time. Of course I think I over ate, but that's what vacations are all about, aren't they? Time enough to go back to dieting next week. When reality comes back and I return to work.
I managed to read a few books (it's so great having my whole library on my Nook with me on vacation - so many books to choose from), but I haven't done reviews on them yet.
I read...
A Life that Fits by Heather Wardell
Who Do, Voodoo? by Rochelle Staab (I will be hosting a guest blog post by the author on November 8th, along with my review and a book giveaway!)
The Beautiful People: New Orleans by Cheril N. Clarke
The Beautiful People: Las Vegas by Cheril N. Clarke
I started reading Double Cover by Sherban Young and should be done with that soon. I hate reading books without writing my reviews of the finished books first, but I didn't have a chance to write reviews while I was away. I'm going to work on them in the next day or so.
There will be more blog tours coming up soon. I have to update my calendar. I love blog tours!
I'm slowly getting back in the swing of things and will start back with memes this week and I'll do some blog hopping, too.
I hope everyone has a great week and reads many great books!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back and glad that you had a great time.
Hubbie has visited several places in the US as he worked for American companies for many years, but Florida is as far as we have got together. We spent 2/3 weeks there in December, every year for 20 years and I just loved it!
Economic reasons have not made it possible for us to make the trip for that past couple of years, but we hope to go back real soon.
Lucky you having relatives there!
Have a great weekend and good luck with the return to work.
Yvonne
