The Sunday Post/The Sunday Salon - June 9th

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, just click the button above.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

The week's sure do go fast...it's Sunday already!  I hope everyone had a great week.

We had both great and bad weather this week, but overall, it was fine.  As for reading, I finished a couple of really good books and posted my reviews... Steamed to Death by Peg Cochran and Fatal Descent by Beth Groundwater.

I've been very busy with blog tours, although going forward I'm going to have to be very selective.  It's just too much for me to handle and I want to get back some reading time.  Here's what the past week has been like here and what's planned for next week...

Have a great week, everyone!

  1. After June, I'll be scaling back the number of blog tours that I do also. It's getting to be too much.

I'm reading The Diabolist now and enjoying it though not as much as the first two. Have you read them? They are very good.

  2. Another super-busy week! I've cut back on blog tours, but I was never doing more than one or two a month.

    Enjoy your week!

    1. I keep saying I'm cutting back but someone is always tempting me with another tour or review that I can't resist.

  3. I've come to realize that I need to cut back on tours and obligations as well. I've let my schedule get out of control. I want to enjoy reading darn it! :D

Happy Sunday and have a great week!

    1. We've had that type of weather sometimes too. I always say I don't care what happens weather-wise while I'm working because I'm inside anyway. Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate, though.

  6. You have had a busy week! I haven't done many tours, but I know what you mean about cutting back to get some reading time back. I've got so many ARCs to read, I haven't had a chance to get to most of my library books, let alone the stacks of books I've bought. I think it takes a while to find a good balance, as a blogger.

    1. It seems like many of us feel overwhelmed with our reading schedules these days.

Thanks for following. I'm following you through GFC.

  8. I agree about blog tours - they require a lot of time. I'm very picky about them now. Reading should come first!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
