Mailbox Monday - April 13th
Labels:
mailbox monday
I had another great week :) My only complaint...we had a lot of rain this week and one day I came home to find my mailbox hanging open filled with a bunch of books I got from PBS. It had been pouring all day and everything got wet. Fortunately, I managed to save all my books with minimal damage.
Body Movers: 3 Men & A Body by Stephanie Bond
Once a Gambler by Carrie Hudson
She’s Got it Bad by Sarah Mayberry
Home at Last by Margaret Watson
The Perfect Stranger by Alison Kent
A Stranger’s Baby by Kerry Connor
The Tyrine Cat by Inbali Iserles (for a review)
Rescuing The Virgin by Patricia Rosemoor

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

So glad they didn't get ruined. Enjoy them. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear, but I am glad they were ok!
ReplyDeleteOnce in a storm i went to the mailbox only to find a letter of mine on the ground in the rain. Gone later and it had been gone.
Whew, that was a close one. We had a lot of rain, too and one of my packages got wet, but the book was fine. You had a great week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSend some of that rain to FL. We are parched! The Tampa area has a ban on even washing your car. Of course they always have water for the bazillion golf courses. Okay, off the soapbox. At least you salvaged your books. It would be heartbreaking if they were lost.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when my books get soggy in the mailbox (and they do anytime it rains here). Glad you could salvage them without too much damage.
ReplyDeleteMy mailbox is here.
I'll take that perfect stranger...lol Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read a Stephanie Bond in ages! Somewhere I have several of her books signed--she had done a book signing at the bookstore I used to work out. I was the event coordinator at the time. She's a super nice person and I remember enjoying her books a lot! I'll have to check her out again!
ReplyDeleteHmm, whenever I read your Mailbox post, I feel like going bookshopping :-D
ReplyDeleteMy mailbox is here.

Sorry about the waterlogged books. Glad you can still read them.
ReplyDeleteI love your cat clock!
Glad your books are OK.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy The Tygrine Cat - I really enjoyed it.
I'm so glad you were able to rescue the books without too much damage, Yvonne. Ugh. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by the mailbox this week. A girl could get tingly all over just looking at your book covers every week. Enjoy your books!
