Sunday/Monday Posts - August 9th and 10th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

We are having beautiful weather here in New York.  Temps in the 80's and not much humidity.  Really nice for now.

It's been a crazy week at work for me, but now I'm just trying to relax and enjoy my weekend.

I've been having many blog tours and giveaways, but I still haven't participated in memes.  I intend to change all that this week and start participating again.  The book memes I plan to keep:

First Chapter Tuesdays/Teaser Tuesdays
Tuesday Top Ten (Sometimes, depends on the topic)
Waiting on Wednesday
Cat Thursday
The Friday 56
Follow Friday Four Fill in Fun Blog Hop

I think those should keep me busy :)

Other than that, I just keep trying to read and catch up on reviews.

So what have you been up to?  Read anything good?  See any good TV shows or movies?

Yvonne

  1. I love to listen to the MC Beaton books because of Penelope Keith's voice. She is so perfectly English!

One of these days I am going to participate in Cat Thursday.

  2. Your new books look so tempting! Fool Me Once has such a great cover and I love the Tarot cards theme.

I have been enjoying movies on the Hallmark channel this week, as it is a new addition (finally) to my provider's lineup. I had been BEGGING them to get this channel...was it just a fluke, or did they listen? LOL

Of course, GH is a favorite show during my weeks. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. You didn't list The Sunday Post in the memes you are keeping, are you dropping it?

You are really into the Agatha Raisin series. :) I got the first from the library, I should get the next one.

Enjoy the weather and I hope this week is less stressful.

  6. I want to continue with the ML Rowland series, and Better Homes and Corpses sounds like a cute story idea.

I haven't been busy on my blog recently, but I do want to keep in touch with my blogger friends and participate in most of the memes that you suggested. I occasionally do, but want to do more.

Enjoy your NY summer! I know from experience that the humidity and sometimes unrelenting heat makes the phrase "dog days of summer" so true :)

  7. Enjoy that weather! Temps going back up here, 100's again soon. Too hot.

Reading some Ann Rule, always one of my favorite authors. Picked up Murder On Astor Place, Murder in the Paperback Parlor and The Readaholics and the Falcon Fiasco so have some fun reading ahead, too. I think Fool Me Once is next on my to buy list. All the reviews are great.

  8. I really had no idea there were so many Agatha Raisin books! I'm way farther behind on the series than I thought and the titles seriously crack me up. I'll have to look for Better Homes and Corpses. I love the title and I've had good luck with books that were a play on the whole Better Homes and Garden thing. Have a great week!
