The Weekend Review - March 2nd-4th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Seems like these last few weeks of spring are going to be snowy ones.  I can't really complain since we didn't have much snow all winter, although its been cold.  Tomorrow night they are saying it will be a big one.  We'll see.  I wouldn't mind if they were wrong :)

I actually managed to finish a book this week :)  I read Healing Hearts by Sarah M. Eden - a new to me author which I really enjoyed.  It is also a book out of my normal genre.  My review will be posted on Monday.

I've pretty much given up on audio books.  Or at least fiction audio books.  I just can't seem to concentrate on them.  Memoir types might be best for me, so I'll try those.

Of course I couldn't resist picking up a few Kindle freebies :)

I'm slowly catching up on my TV shows but I'm trying to concentrate more on my books.

Other than that, everything is pretty much the same.  I hope everyone has a great week!

  1. I hope you enjoy the new week...I managed to read three books this past week, more than usual...probably because I was warding off my anxieties about the hack and the aftermath.

  13. I'm struggling with reading right now between the allergies and everything else it just seems to drop to the bottom of the pile or I'm just too tired. I think you'll enjoy the Lynn Cahoon and it's a quick read. Hope you're having a great week!

  15. My experience of audiobooks is limited, however, I've tried contemporary romance and failed miserably but have been loving fantasy books.
