Sunday/Monday Posts - June 1st and 2nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

Happy Sunday and Monday Everyone!

The year continues to fly by...we're already in June. I do love the nicer weather

I have all my books set up for June.  I know that sounds very organized but it's not.  LOL  Some are for blog tours so they have to be read on certain dates and, more often then not, my "schedule" for the other ones gets knocked out of whack by some unexpected thing or other.  But...at least it's a plan of some kind.

The Clean Sweep ARC Reading Challenge is over.  That was fun and I still need to write up my wrap up post.  I finished 7 ARCs.  I wanted to read 10, but 7 isn't bad.  Two of the reviews won't be posted until the upcoming week because they are for blog tours.  I don't like to post blog tour reviews before the scheduled date.  I'll also combine a May monthly wrap up post with the wrap up post for Clean Sweep ARC.

I, also, participated in the Armchair BEA for the first time.  It was fun.  I still have my giveaway going on, if you want to win two cozy mysteries - just click the giveaway button on my sidebar.

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend and having fun...read lots and lots of books!

Yvonne

I finished reading...

I'm currently reading...

I didn't finish all the books I wanted to read in May, but of course I now have June books that need to be read too.  Four are for blog tours, so those will definitely be read.  Hopefully, I can make a dent in the others, too, but I'm sure I won't read everything on this list.

What was your week like? What are you reading this week?

  1. I know what you mean about having your schedule knocked out of whack; I've had to rearrange June several times already and I'm sure it'll happen again. Sigh. But, in theory, I'm scheduled and booked through the end of August.

Good luck with your upcoming books.

  3. Glad to know that I'm not the only one that doesn't always get all the reading the want to get read done! I feel like I'm in a race most of the time. I'm wanting to read All Things Murder - the excerpts you posted have been really interesting. Love Honeychurch Hall. Looks like you've got some good ones coming up!

  6. Yes, the schedule is subject to interruption...and sometimes our moods take us to other places, too. Enjoy June...and thanks for visiting my blog. Save the Date is on my list.

  8. June is here and the warm weather has arrived, finally! Glad you had a good week and it must seem nice to be organized for June, I'm not nearly that organized! :)

  9. This year is truly flying by, I agree. Enjoy your books. Being organised is great but I am a mood reader and it never goes as planned.

  13. 7/10 definitely isn't bad! Weather here in England has been a bit bi-polar, sunny and hot one day, gloomy and rainy the next! I haven't done any book tours in ages because it pushes all of my other reading to the side, but I do think it's something I want to do over the summer! 'Fatal Impressions' looks really good! I hope you enjoy you reading!

  19. Happy June! I'm loving the nicer weather, too. I try to make a tentative list of books to read each month. There's less stress if I'm somewhat organized!
