The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone had a good week. This was my birthday week so it's been a good one for me. It meant eating more than I should, but everything was so delicious. It's a bad time of year to try and eat healthy anyway 😁
The weather in Florida has been lovely. It's around 80 degrees with very little humidity. It's perfect weather to sit outside and read. Not that I've done that yet, but I will.
I finished two books this week and I'm almost done with another. All good books. I have my December books all lined up. I still haven't worked on next year's reading challenges, but I will.
I'm continuing watching a Criminal Minds marathon. It's a re-watch for me and I'm on season 3. Also, I'm watching the new mini-series each week. I, also, started Tulsa King and enjoying that one.
I'm hoping to get more reading done with all the TV shows going into hiatus for the next month or so. I hope you all have a great week and read/watch many great things!
Your temps sound lovely. Makes me want to move from Southern CA, where it was only in the 60's today.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday!
Happy birthday! Your weather sounds lovely. It's 25 here right now so I wouldn't mind a little warm up. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice weekend!
We've had unseasonably cool weather, but this weekend it felt like summer had finally arrived. Winter is coming back again this week though!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I'm glad it was a good one. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThis is the time of year when our weather here along the Gulf Coast of Texas is amazing, too. I need to make a plan to read outside during this weather.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Yvonne! No need to cut back on eating right now, I think. I plan to wait until the food choices aren't so good, maybe in January.
Happy Birthday week. And I love your blog post 'awww mondays' exactly how most feel. In fact I read a book you may like called 'Monday Mornings by Sanjay Gupta, famous surgeon who talks on morning shows about health care.
ReplyDeleteWow! 80s. Sounds fantastic. I'm jealous. Cold and stormy here...
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I hope you have a lovely week. I'm finding I need to rethink my yearly reading challenges. By the end of the year I notice I've forgotten to keep up on them...what to do.
Happy birthday to you! I'm jealous of your 80 degree weather--it was snowing here today! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! You should celebrate all month long. XO
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you! Yes, hard to eat healthy right now! The cover for Murder in the Meaui is precious! Looks like some cozy mysteries are in your future!
ReplyDeleteWell Florida does sound very pleasant and rather warm! A belated Happy Birthday and yes this time of year tends to be delicious eating!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! It's very cold up here, but that just means I have to stay in and read, right? I always love a good cozy.
ReplyDeleteJust returned home from a visit with family in Florida. Enjoyed the warmth. The Sunshine Sisters was a good read. Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteTempting titles, and I envy your weather. Enjoy your week!
