Sunday/Monday Posts - October 16th and 17th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

We've been having beautiful fall-like weather.  The sun is shining and the leaves are beautiful colors.  I wish it could always be like this but I'll enjoy it while we are getting it.

Only two more weeks until Halloween...it's hard to believe.  I  haven't been doing any of the Halloween type reading that I wanted to do, but I'm still reading cozy mysteries which are...well... mysterious, so I think they fit that category.  I wish I could read faster, but this isn't a contest.  LOL

I continue trying to keep up with my weekly TV watching.  There are surprisingly many good new shows out there, although I try not to get too attached because networks seem pretty fast to cancel lately.

It's pretty much been the "same old, same old" here.  That's kind of a good thing.  That means it's quiet and nothing bad is happening.

How has your week been?

Yvonne

  1. We are SO behind tv this week. It did not help we started seasons 1 of Blindspot and ...that humour cop show

  2. I'm not into Halloween. We've lived in this house since '98 and have never had any Trick Or Treaters other than my grandkids. Maybe when we move we'll start getting more into it since we'll have a bunch of neighbors.

  3. I'm not big into Halloween or fall, but the weather has been nice so far! I actually want it to get cold (but not snowy) because I love my winter wardrobe. :D

I've not heard of any of your new books! Except the Shalvis one, which I've seen receive excellent reviews. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a fabulous week. :)

    Check out my STS post!

  4. I own Caught Dead Handed but haven't read it yet. I'm super curious about Death at First Sight. Can't wait to see what you think. I love fall too!

  5. So many delicious looking books! I need to put out my Halloween decor.

Mistletoe Cottage is one that would get me in the Christmas holiday mood. Thanks for sharing...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  6. I haven't got to read as many Halloween type books as I wanted to either but that is my fault, I bogged myself down with review books that had nothing to do with being spooky and need to read them. I am trying to wiggle in a few scary ones though. :)

I like the looks of those on your reading list!

  9. I consider cozies good Halloween reads too. Someone dies, right! LOL We've been enjoying summer weather here and I did manage to get some more swimming in. That's supposed to change by the end of next week.

  12. While I am watching Spring evolve I do love Autumn too, we are so lucky to have seasons and some don't get those differences. Enjoy those cozies!

  13. I don't watch much network television. I think I'm only following The Voice right now. My reading and computer gaming fills up most of my available evenings. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
