Sunday/Monday Posts - October 2nd and 3rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy October!

It's been a couple of weeks since I posted on Sunday.  I've been away on a mini-vacation and now I'm back.  We had a great time at the Jersey Shore.  Now, we're settling in for autumn days.  The temps are cooler, which is nice, but it's been rainy and overcast which isn't so nice.  Perfect reading weather, though :)

In the past couple of weeks I've been getting in some reading.  Lately, I've really been enjoying the shorter cozy mysteries and reading ones that I've gotten for free.  I keep collecting all these freebies and this is the first time I've actually been reading them :)  I have quite a number of good books coming up to read.

I have a full schedule of blog tours coming up, too.  It looks like the next couple of months will be busy on my blog.

I've, also, been catching up on TV.  I finished a Netflix marathon of Wentworth.  I love that show and now I wait for the next season to come on.  They sure know how to leave you with a cliffhanger.  I started the new season of Longmire.  Another show that I enjoy.  I've hit a detour as I am trying to watch the new fall season as well and clear up my DVR a little.

A couple of new shows I enjoyed - Bull, Designated Survivor and McGyver.  I still have more to watch, though.  So there may be other new shows I'll enjoy.  Then, of course, there are my old favorites like Survivor, Criminal Minds, Code Black, Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away With Murder.  All have started off good this season.  I won't even mention how many other shows I still have on my DVR to watch.  LOL

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and reading many good books!  Have a great week!

Yvonne
