Sunday/Monday Posts - October 9th and 10th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

The weeks just seem to keep flying by, don't they?  I can't believe it's almost Halloween already.  My blog has been pretty busy this month.  I had something going on everyday last week.  Hopefully things will calm down a bit now.

I've been reading many good books...mainly cozies, as usual.  So many great series out there (Note to Publishers:  Stop canceling how cozy mystery series - we love our cozies and our cozy authors!)

I'm desperately trying to catch up on my TV viewing.  My DVR is bursting at the seams, but so many good shows out there.

Other than that, I'm just enjoying and relaxing on this three day holiday week in the US.  Yay for holidays :)

Hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  2. Yes, we need MORE cozies, not less lol. I think it's terrible they're canceling so many. The authors must be crushed. :(

    That Shatner audio looks interesting.

  3. Such delightful looking books! I do love a good cozy, and another one is coming to the Julie Mulhern series. Can't wait!

Enjoy your week, and I'm loving the fall TV season, too.

  4. The cozy series cancelling is killing me. I just saw that Diane Vallere's fabric store series is cancelled and I'm so disappointed. I love that one! My DVR is bursting at the seams as well. When we switched over to the TIVO I thought we'd be good because it has so much more room but once again I'm at 90+%. Have a great week!

  5. I feel so bad about the cozy canceling. You have some lovely books to read and yes the year is flying by. Most of our shows haven't started yet, this time next month I will be feeling it! Have a wonderful week :)

  6. I am so mad about the cozy cancelling too! One of my favorites got canceled and the author is not going to shop it around while some of her others got picked up..so bummed. :(

  9. Hope those cozy publishers listen, or that the authors just publish them independently. Hope you enjoy Fatal Affair when you get to it - a fav series of mine.

  11. I love cozy mysteries too! I didn't know much about the cancelling you are talking about, although I did hear a little bit about it. I don't want them to cancel cozy series, I love them! I want to read practically everyone you have listed here too. :) Have a great week!
