Hi Everyone! Happy Weekend!
Not too much going on here, but my blog has been busy. I continue to read some really good books and have some good ones scheduled. I really do enjoy listening to audio books as I walk. That's been a huge help in both getting some cozy mysteries that I've been wanting to read finished and getting exercise at the same time.
As for what I watched, I continue with my regular shows which have all been good. I also watched Coming 2 America which was cute.
Mostly I've been more interested in reading than anything else.
So what have you all been up to? Anything exciting going on in your lives?

I haven't heard anyone who liked Coming to Amaerica 2 yet so I'm glad you liked it!
ReplyDeleteI should listen to more audiobooks, I'd get more books read. :) Hope you enjoy Clouds in my Coffee, I love that series.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you re long walks with an audio-book. I also indulge when doing housework too, its amazing how much cleaner my house gets with a an engaging story to motivate me.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte Burt's Books
Great to hear you are still enjoying your reading and audiobooks, and that you have more fun ones lined up. My week was a good one with me getting my first dose of the vaccine; going for a lovely walk in a local nature reserve; and reading the turn-of-the-century classic A Room With a View by E.M. Forster. Take care and more happy reading in the coming week, Yvonne. 🙂
ReplyDeleteI'm still thinking about getting some good earphones (is that the right word?) so I can walk and listen. But my walking buddy has now gotten her shot and maybe we will be able to walk together again.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of Rooftop Party and Invisible Husband. Invisible Husband seems to be all over the place. Curious about it.
Have a great week.
I have never gotten into audiobooks, probably because I no longer commute anywhere or have good places to walk...being pretty well locked down. Things will eventually change...but I don't know if audiobooks will be one of them. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI do love cozies. I hope you enjoy Clouds in my Coffee. Have you read the other books in the series? I loved them all, but haven't read the newer ones yet.
I have Her Dark Lies and can't wait to read it!
Enjoy! Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
I have read the first couple of books in Julie Mulhern's series. I just haven't had a chance to read more. They are really good, though.
DeleteHave a great week!
I haven’t watched Coming 2 America yet but I probably will at some point since I’m old enough to remember the release of the original.
ReplyDeleteI’ve heard good things about The invisible Husband.
Wishing you a great reading week
I've been loving audio books lately! Enjoy your reading! You have some really good looking books - that JT Ellison is calling my name and Julie Mulhern is always a good read. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteOh, curious about The Latest Husband... enjoy your latest.
ReplyDeleteI thought Coming 2 America was fun. I liked the first movie better, but the second was a great way to bring the old generation with the new generation.
ReplyDeleteI love the Julie Mulhern series!! :) Have a great week!

Meows and Murder looks good. I have been doing more tv watching than reading lately. :) XO
ReplyDeleteI wish I could take a leaf out of your example and get out walking, I keep balking instead - and then I'd get an audiobook I want to finish. Great to see Emilie Richard's book in your line up. Me too.
ReplyDeleteI've been toying with the idea of watching Coming to America 2. I remember enjoying the first movie way back when and I keep seeing the ad for it when I turn on TV. Now, I just need to talk my husband into watching it with me... - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
ReplyDeleteI like listening to audiobooks while I walk or run too. --and then if it's good and I want to keep listening it inspires me to clean around the house. :)I look forward to hearing about The Rooftop Party. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThat Meows and Murder looks super fun and cute!
ReplyDeleteWalking is great for getting those audios in! I've had COming 2 America on my list. Looks like a decent comedy for a weekend night.
I hope you enjoy your week and get lots of reading in!
I'm eager for the weather to get to what I consider walking weather. Meanwhile, I listen to audiobooks while playing computer games. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI started recently to listen to audiobooks - while cleaning my kitchen, it helped a lot ! When the weather gets a little hotter, I'd love to listen some more while crocheting or knitting. Enjoy your new books :)
ReplyDeleteAudiobooks are a great excuse to exercise, and walks are a great excuse to listen to audiobooks! (Housework works, too.) I'm glad you're enjoying them.
