The Weekend Review - December 10th-12th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I can't believe it's the second week of December already.  It's going way too fast.  It's been a quiet week for me, which is good.  I like quiet weeks.

I still haven't put together the reading challenges I'm joining next year but I'll get to them.  For now I'm just reading.  I've been lucky lately with reading three 5 "kitty/star" books in a row.

As for what I'm watching, I still watch Survivor which I think has their finale this week.  I'm still enjoying binging on Criminal Minds.  I can't believe how much I forgot from when I originally watched it.  It's almost like watching it for the first time.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and I hope you all have a great week.

  1. Quiet weeks are good but yes I can't believe how far along December is already. Christmas is going to be here so fast.

  3. I'm with you on enjoying quiet weeks! I love that title Vinyl Resting Place. I wish I was more of a cozy reader, those titles just grab me every time! I need to look at what challenges to do next year as well. Hope you have a good week, and thanks for visiting my Sunday post at Lisa Loves Literature!

  4. Great minds think alike. I have been watching Survivor too, and also watching reruns of Criminal Minds late night/early morning. Keeps me up until 2 or 3am. Gotta stop that. HA HA HA

  5. I'm a sucker for reading challenges and have started thinking about which ones to do. I'll probably over-commit, but that's okay. I'm trying to find ones that might dovetail - like historical fiction and a book I own, etc. Here's hoping your upcoming week is quiet and pleasant too. thanks for the visit.

  8. This month is going by way too fast. We have been watching The Great Christmas Light Fight. It amazes me the time and effort people put into holiday displays.

  9. December seems to be flying by. Phew! I'm also trying to plan out what I want to do in 2023. I don't do a lot of challenges, but I set a fair amount of goals and I'm working to articulate exactly what I was to accomplish. Have a great week! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories

  14. I'm thinking about reading challenges too. I'm tempted to sign up for all of them, but that's probably a terrible idea. Have a great week!

  16. I like those quiet weeks too! I am hoping next week will be a quiet work week, but we'll see. This week isn't shaping up to be one and it's only Monday. I love the title "A Streetcar Named Murder". I hope you are enjoying it! I hope you have a great week, Yvonne!

  17. I can't seem to get a quiet week; I'm just loving a quiet day here and there. I can't believe it's December either. I loved Criminal Minds but stopped watching, including most all broadcast TV, about the time Shemar Moore left the series. My daughter has watched more of the recent shows. Someday I would like to get up to date.
