The Weekend Review - September 23rd-25th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I can't believe it's the last week of September already.  I'm finding it a little easier to concentrate on reading lately.  I finished three books this week.  That's much better than what I was doing before.

I had a CT scan earlier this week and next week I see a new specialist.  I'll know more what's going on with me then.

I haven't been doing too much TV watching.  Although, we've been binging on old episodes of Outer Limits.  I haven't seen all these episodes before, so they are "new-to-me".

The temps are starting to get cooler here.  Or at least the humidity is less than it was.  Depending on the outcome of my doctor's visit, maybe I can even start walking again and listening to audiobooks.

So, how has your week been?  Read or see anything good?  I hope you all have a great week!

I'm currently reading...

I finished reading ...

These are the books I have left for September.  I think they will be carryovers to October.  I still have to put together my October list.

Here is this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  11. Our weather is a little better, but the mosquitoes are wild! We can't win for losing over here. Lol. At least we can use bug spray though and still get out.

Good luck with the doctor's visit!

  12. It's good you are looking into things and figuring it out. I hope you get some answers and are able to start walking and listening to audio again. The cooler temps should help and lower humidity.
