Sunday/Monday Posts - November 30th/December 1st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews

Happy Sunday and Monday!

I hope those of you with a long holiday weekend are enjoying it.  I'm not getting as much reading done as I wanted, but I'm very near my goal at this point.  Most likely I will exceed it by a couple.  I'm trying to keep it light on my blog as far as tours go starting this month.  I only had one blog tour this past week and I have two scheduled for next week.  I still have many outstanding review requests to take care of, but I think I'll be a lot happier if I can mix in a few books that I want to read just because I want to.  That will make things much easier on me, I think.

I'm going to start reading a few holiday books between now and after New Year's.  I love reading the holiday books at this time of year.  There are so many great ones in my favorite genres - cozy mysteries and romances.

I'm slowly deciding which reading challenges to join for 2015.  I have the three that I host.  I also joined Foodies Reading Challenge and Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge.  I always love doing those two.  There are a couple of others I might join and most likely that will be it.

I'm a bit behind on commenting on blogs, but I will eventually get around to it!  It's a crazy time of year as I know you all know.

So, what have you been up to?  Reading or watching anything good?  Hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  1. I am not going to join all the challenges that I did last year. I just can't keep up with updating etc. I think I'm just going to focus on my own goals and my own challenge. (I want to be able to visit every review linked up like I did the 1st year.

  2. I haven't seen much about challenges lately. And, I find it more stressful than helpful I think. I am just plowing forward in a plodding fashion. Here's my post: http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/2014/11/sunday-love.html

  3. I'm trying to figure out what challenges I want to do. The alphabet and foodie challenges look really great! Definitely mix some books you want to read. I've tried to force myself a few times lately and I always end up a little grumpy and dangerously close to a rut! Have a great week!

  4. I might not join any challenges...but I could always change my mind! If I do join any, they will be low key challenges....I am so over the intensity I have had in previous years...LOL.

I hope you are enjoying The Good Girl...I was surprised by how much I liked it.

  7. I love your book haul this week. I'm going to read several of these.
I also like to mix requested reviews with my own personal reading. It makes it more relaxing and fun if I review a book I don't have to now and then. Not saying required review books aren't great, because the ones I have are, just no time schedule with the others.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
