Sunday Salon - July Wrap Up!
I've been on vacation this week and returned last night. We had a great time. We stayed in Atlantic City and then did some day trips from there. We went to Cape May and Sea Isle City in New Jersey. We spent quite a bit of time soaking up the sun by the hotel pool. A very relaxing week.
I actually completed two books and started a third. I read Shopaholic Takes Manhattan and Body Check. I started The Summerhouse by Jude Deveraux, which is pretty good so far.
Here are the books I read in July (I really can't believe we are in August already). The reviews for all these books have been posted on my blog. It was a pretty good month for me.
Holly's Inbox by Holly Denham - Excellent!
Death In Daytime by Eileen Davidson - Very good
Dial Emmy for Murder by Eileen Davidson - Good
Multiple Choice by Claire Cook (audio) - Fair
8 Sandpiper Way by Debbie Macomber - Excellent!
A Cedar Cove Christmas by Debbie Macomber - Excellent!
Benny & Shrimp by Katarina Mazetti - Very good
The DeSantis Marriage by Michelle Reid - Good
Nantucket Nights by Elin Hilderbrand - Excellent!
Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella - Very Good
Body Check by Elle Kennedy - Very good
A total of 11 books! I also completed another reading challenge this week - the Romance Reading Challenge.
I received some more awards which I will post...I'm a bit backlogged on stuff, but I will get to them! I appreciate all the awards given to my blog! Thank you all!
Hope you all had a great week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Small world ... we were on vacation last week at the Jersey shore, too! Sounds like you had a great time (we did too) and got some good reading in!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny, Melissa. We probably even saw each other :) Glad you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteWell done on getting so much reading done Yvonne. You might like to pop in and take the poll I have running about how many books you will read this year. My cat would like that scratching post too.
ReplyDeleteYou had a good reading month. I managed only 7!

You read a lot of books in July! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :-)
ReplyDeleteKerrie - I voted in the poll, thanks for letting me know about it.
ReplyDeleteGautami tripathy - I normally only do about 8 books a month, at most. It's only because of my vacation that I managed 11.
