The old man gripped his cane with both arthritic hands as he attempted to wrestle it from a solid black feline the size of a cocker spaniel. The cat answered with a growl that sounded like something from a When Good Pets Go Bad television episode.

    Interesting teaser! This might be a humorous book. Love the cover! I thought of my dad and his cats when I read your teaser.
