Theme Thursday - FEMALE NAME (any female characters name)
Labels:
theme thursday
This is a new meme hosted by kavyen at Reading between Pages.. “Theme Thursdays” will be open from one thursday to the next and anyone can post it. The rules are simple:
* A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
* Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
* Post it and don’t forget to mention the author and the title of the book
* Since we may take a few days to finish a book, this event is open for one whole week
This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.
This week’s theme is – FEMALE NAME (any female characters name)
This week I'm reading...
The Gingerbread Bump-off by Livia J. Washburn
"Look, Claudia, I don't want to upset you -"
"We're Georgia's friends. We just want to find out what happened to her. I thought you were supposed to be her friend too."
"I was. I mean, I am," Phyllis corrected quickly.
"But you let her be attacked right on your front porch."

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Well, she's got some splainin' to do. How did she let the woman get attacked right in front of her??? Did she try to stop the attack?? Need to have this cozy.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this one, Yvonne...now that I'm going to be doing the Cozies challenge. This book is on my list. I love, love, love that cover!
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by the excerpt, too.
Here's MY THEME THURSDAYS POST and
MY WEBSITE
That is a lot of names in one. The cover design is stunning and I have a feeling you will showcase it tomorrow again. I love cozy mysteries though I don't read them as much ad I'd like too.
ReplyDeleteThree names in one! And Phyllis definitely needs to 'splain some things....
