Sunday/Monday Posts - July 20th and 21st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews

Happy Sunday and Monday!

How is everyone enjoying their summer?  Go any place exciting?  Reading many great books?  It feels like the summer is flying by and it's already half over.

I've been busy on my blog.  Last week I had quite a few blog tours and a couple of giveaways.  They are still going on - if you want to enter, just click on the button in my sidebar.  Only a couple of tours next week and August looks to be a busy month.

I managed to complete my goal for the 2014 Netgalley Reading Challenge.  I still have alot of Netgalley books to read, but at least I completed the challenge I signed up for.

I've been watching quite a number of summer TV shows and enjoying them.  Two of my favorites are already over - The Night Shift and 24.  Both were really good.  The Night Shift will return next summer but we don't know about 24 yet.

So, what have you been reading?

Yvonne

  3. I haven't read yet but will probably read or watch to see what the hubbub is about Orange is the New Black. On my site I linked up a long interview with Larry Smith, who apparently is her real life husband and portrayed in the show.
I am guilty of selecting too many NetGalley books to ever catch up to, and also a large tbr list on my kindle. Enjoy your week.

  6. Bitter Chocolate and the Debbie Macomber look interesting. I've read some of her Blossom Street books but haven't gotten to Cedar Cove yet. I'm making progress on NetGalley but still not quite where I want to be. Have a great week!
