Sunday/Monday Posts - July 6th and 7th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews

Happy Sunday and Monday!

I hope all of you celebrating Independence Day on July 4th had a great holiday.  It was a "rain out" here, but the rest of the weekend is beautiful.

I had many blog tours this week, which limited my time for participating in some of my usual memes.  I have blog tours scheduled through July and August with some giveaways too.  I haven't even done my June wrap up yet...maybe I'll just combine June and July's wrap up at the end of the month.

Other than that, I'm just enjoying the summer months.

So, what have you all been up to?  Hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  1. I just realized tonight that I hadn't done my June wrap up and I'm also thinking I may just wait and combine it with July. There must be some thing in the air. :D

I'm curious about Tailing a Tabby and can't wait to see what you think.

  2. I finished `Life Without Limits` (Nick Vujicic)

Was contacted by author Rebecca Stevenson to review her book.

Did not see the fireworks this year since I'm still healing.

  6. I am loving watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix...some have said they don't like Season II as much as the first season, but I'm enjoying the flashbacks to life "before," which give us some insights. The book was good, too...I read it after I watched Season I.

    I'm curious about Pressed Pennies.

Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST

    1. I enjoyed season 2 as much as season 1. My only complaint is now we have to sit around and wait for season 3. LOL I'm enjoying the audio of it.

  7. Sorry about the rain, we had a pretty decent day but today looks iffy. I have to say we're having apretty mild summer though so far, and I'm likin that. Nice and warm but not scorching, so far...

    Tailing A Tabby looks cute.

    1. Friday was our only bad day. It's too bad it was a holiday, but the rest of the weekend has been lovely.

  8. You have an impressive, busy July so far! Confession is Murder and the Tailing a Tabby look good for me. I might jump on the Orange is the new Black bandwagon soon :)
Enjoy all your books in the coming week.

  9. Sorry you were rained out. (I'm guessing you may live in North Carolina?) Our 4th here in VA was quiet but fair, and the weather yesterday and today has been fantastic -- cooler than normal (70s and low 80s instead of 90s) and low humidity. I love it!

I just finished The White Magic Five and Dime myself. I'll be interested to see what you thought of it!

    1. I'm actually in New York. I guess we got the aftermath of the story, but I'm not complaining. We've had a lovely weekend otherwise - not too hot or humid. Just perfect after the Friday rain.

My review will be up on Tuesday as part of the blog tour.

    1. I hate when it's humid like that. After the rain, we've had beautiful, sunny weather with very little humidity.

Tailing a Tabby is fun. I'll be posting my review and giveaway on Friday as part of the blog tour.

  11. So sorry your 4th was yucky but sounds like you had a lovely rest of the weekend. We were lucky and got low humidity and the temps were only in the 80s! I'm really curious about the Tailing a Tabby book. The series looks really cute. I'll be looking for The White Magic Five & Dime review as well. Have a great week!
