It's that simple.

This week I'm reading...

I considered running an ad in the Ft. Sam Houston News Leader: "Patriotic grad student wants to meet eligible officer." I sounded like a groupie panting over a man in uniform. One aspect to consider was that officers were accustomed to giving orders, and I wasn't used to taking them. I'd revise the ad when my mind was less cluttered.

  1. Fun 56. There are so many things I wish I had waited to write until my mind was less cluttered.

  2. Nice teaser. I purchased this book earlier this week and hope to start it sometime soon.

  3. The cover and your 56 make this sound like a fun read. I wonder if she ever takes the time to change the ad. LOL

  4. Fun cover and I'm curious about the quote. Is she attracted to him? Is he a suspect? I may have to read it to find out. :D

  5. The 56 is definitely fun though I do want to know more. Curious as to why exactly she wants an officer for and what her revised ad sounds like!

  6. Yes, the cluttered mind can lead us astray...LOL. Thanks for sharing...and here's mine: “FRIENDSWOOD”

  7. I spotted this somewhere this week. Nothing like a fun cozy to while away this weekend:) Sounds fun.
    here is my 56 -

  8. This looks like fun book. I like the little excerpt :)

  9. I'm wondering why she's interested in an officer. I'd read this book to find out!
Here's the link to my Friday post: Coulda Been a Cowboy.

  10. LOL sounds like it might be a snarky read.
    Happy weekend!
