Sunday/Monday Posts - September 14th and 15th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews

Happy Sunday and Monday!

Hi Everyone!  How did your week go?  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I'm having a difficult time juggling my blog, reading and my new job but I'm hoping everything will calm down in the next few weeks as I learn the new job.  I haven't found much reading time, but I'm sure I will eventually get there.  I've been scheduling very few blog tours for September, but I seem to have somehow (who knows how I do these things - LOL) booked quite a number of tours and reviews for October.  We'll see how that goes :)

Somehow I have to figure out how to juggle the new TV season in here too.  Such problems :)

Only a couple of tours scheduled for next week.  Then maybe I can do some catch up with my reading in the last two and a half weeks of the month.  I know we all keep asking this question, but where does the time go?

The weather is beginning to really feel like fall now.  I went to Bath and Body Works - they had all the fall scents out.  I love those, especially the pumpkin, apple and vanilla scents.  It makes it feel even more like fall to me.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and have a great week!

Yvonne

  1. I like the look of all your new books...and I am so excited about the new TV season.

I never did that many blog tours, but when I realized that they were stressing me out, I stopped. I don't do any.

Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST

  2. Good luck with the new job and also your blog tours, I'm not doing any this year to give myself a break. It's hard enough with me keeping up with my requested book reviews.
All your cat topic books look so good, and I like New Orleans as a setting for tv and books, so that might be a good read for me.

  3. There was a time I practically LIVED in Bath and Body Works. :D I do enjoy fall and I'm ready for it.

The juggling act can be a pain and sometimes the blog has to come last. So, if for a while all you post is book tours and promised reviews so be it. Then maybe take a break and when you come back, jump in with some stuff you do for fun.

I hope you have a great week!

  9. Work does have an annoying tendency to interfere with blog time, I've noticed. :) Too bad we don't get paid to do this! Some nice cat books this week- both Fat Cat At Large and Cats That Surfed The Web look good.

Bath and Body Works is popular here too- that and Yankee Candle. We're always getting soap or something there... :)

  11. The cat books look cute. I have a Linda Weaver Clarke book I really do want to get to.
Juggling work, reading and blog + adding TV -- that is a task. I skip the TV part except for watching movies while on the computer at night. :-) Have a good week!
