Sunday/Monday Posts - April 12th and 13th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

The sun is shining and it's almost 60 degrees!  Yay...beautiful spring day at last.

I didn't do all that much reading this week.  It's been a difficult week for me personally and, without going into it in detail, I'm starting to get back to my routine.  Hopefully, next week will be a better one.

I did manage to complete the reading challenge I host for cozy mysteries.  Maybe next year I'll up my level, but I still have another mystery reading challenge that I joined and the cozies I will read for the rest of the year will fit nicely there too.

I have a few giveaways coming up in the next few weeks.  One will be featuring The Cozy Cookbook which is written by several cozy mystery authors.  This is a beautiful book.  Everyone will love this one.

Other than that, I'm hoping for a week filled with reading next week.  So, what's been happening with you?

Yvonne

  3. Hope your new week is better, and enjoy your books...and GH.

I was sick most of this past week, and had to wait to watch the shows from DVR after the first day of it.

But now I'm almost back to normal. Thanks for sharing, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

That book is definitely on my To Buy list. How can I resist a book about 2 of my favorite things - cooking and cozy mysteries! Have a great week!

  7. Congrats on finishing your challenge! Our spring has come and gone. LOL It goes from one or two nice days to humid and hot very quickly. Not much time to enjoy open windows. I love your cozies. Added some new ones to my wishlist!

  10. Yvonne, I'm sure you've heard of the tragedy in Sheila ( Book Journey)'s family and that she is stepping back, possibly forever from her blog. Perhaps you could take over the "It's Monday" posts?

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
