Sunday/Monday Posts - April 5th and 6th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Long Holiday Weekend!

Happy Holidays to all who are celebrating.  I can't believe it's already April.

Our weather is finally warming up and it's slowly starting to look like spring.  I do mean slowly because it feels like the weather wants to be spring but it's hesitating.  LOL

I'm still searching for reading time, but real life tends to get in the way.  So, it's been a bit slower than I'd like, but I'm getting there.  It's probably also because of my TV addiction lately - especially to shows like General Hospital, Survivor, and Revenge to name a few.  Although The Walking Dead is over for the season, there's a spin-off coming up this summer that I'll probably watch.  There's also the show iZombie.  I haven't watched it but heard it's good.  I'll have to try and catch up on demand with it.

Other than that, it's quiet here.  I hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  1. Have a wonderful week, and I love my GH addiction...it gives me another thing to look forward to in the week.

I have been enjoying Pippa, my new Kindle, but it didn't tell me that I needed to recharge the battery, so I couldn't download something...until I plugged it in...LOL

Sparky always told me...Hmm. Maybe I missed it.

    Do you have a Paperwhite?

I love the look of those M. C. Beaton books...I haven't read that author, but now I'm intrigued.

Have a great day, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. I keep reading "Demise in Denim" as "DeNise in Denim" :D

Do you read while you watch TV? I do but I know many people don't. Enjoy your new books and happy Easter!

  4. No, Bea. I can't read while watching TV. I can't concentrate on a book. I usually watch TV and do computer stuff. I can do those two things at the same time.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Easter to you!

  5. I can't read while watching TV either. I don't even listen to music etc when I read.

Glad it's getting warmer there. Sadly here in Oz it's still hot though we're halfway through Autumn! Bring on winter, I say!

  6. I can't wait for TWD spin-off. I watched the first episode of iZombie and liked it. I reminds me a lot of the White Trash Zombie series, but so far I like this series way more than that show. Hope spring decides to come through soon.

  8. A spin-off to Walking dead ? Uh ho, I might have to watch that ! It's freezing in the morning again, here. During the day, it's sunny and the sky is blue, you can dare wear a t-shirt, but during the night, brrrrr !! Have a great week, I hope Agatha Raisin grows on you ;)

  9. Deborah - I can't listen to music when I read either. I prefer silence. It's too bad I can't send you some of our cold weather and you send us some of your hot. Together, it would be really nice weather :)

Christy - I only saw the first episode of iZombie and it was good. I have to find time to watch the rest of the episodes.

Readerjunkie - Yep, a spin-off to TWD will start this summer. I think it starts in August, but I'm not sure. I'm looking forward to it.
