Sunday/Monday Posts - May 8th and 9th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.  The weather is horrible's been raining all week.  So dreary and depressing.  It hasn't felt like spring here at all.  Hopefully that will change.

I've been reading some good books.  I'm trying not to schedule too many review blog tours so I can catch up on other review requests I have...maybe even squeeze in a couple of books on my own TBR shelf, too.

I've been watching some really good movies on DVD lately - Creed, The Danish Girl, Concussion and I'm hoping to watch The Revenant this weekend at some point.  I'm also trying to catch up on my TV shows - Fear the Walking Dead, Criminal Minds (great season finale), Criminal Minds: Beyond the Borders (I'm enjoying this new show), The Blacklist, Chicago Med and many others, so little time :)  Somehow I will totally catch up and maybe just read all summer, but it never really works that way.  There's always something to watch.

So, how was your week?  Read any good books?  Seen any good shows or movies?  I hope you all have a great week!

  3. I loved The Husband's was my first by the author. The Weekenders is on my list.
