The Weekend Review - December 16th-18th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I really can't believe there are only two weeks left in 2023.  Our weather in Florida has been wet, dreary and gloomy all week.  So, that meant not doing very much outside the house.  I did manage to finish two books.  Both were really good. I, also, signed up for two more reading challenges.  I was waiting for these two to be posted as I join them every year.  I don't complete them, but I have fun trying.

Survivor's season finale is this week.  I'm looking forward to it.  Usually, the person I want to win never wins.  So, we'll see what happens this week. I'm still watching Game of Thrones, which is good.  Mostly, I've been enjoying my books again.

I hope everyone has a great week and read many good books!

  2. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for in Survivor this season. I like those who are left, but none are really standing out to me. I'm definitely interested in seeing how it all shakes out.

  9. I've never seriously tried the European Reading Challenge, but it sounds fun. I think I need to find out more about the Backlist Challenge. That could be one I need to do next year.

It's crazy that this year is almost over!

  10. Challenges are fun. Even if I don't complete them, they always motivate me to read more. I enjoy connecting with other people who participate in them too. We've had sunshine all week, but today it's raining a lot. It's okay because we really need the rain. Have a great week! :)
