Booking through Thursday - Recent Worst Book

This week's question...

What’s the worst book you’ve read recently?
(I figure it’s easier than asking your all-time worst, because, well, it’s recent!)

You know, this was actually a very hard question and I can honestly say I don't have one. Lately, I've been very lucky in what I've been reading and really enjoyed all my books. I guess it's because I'm getting better and better in choosing books that I know I will love. It's been working for me.

  1. I think that's right. Your reading enjoyment really depends a lot on knowing which books to choose. I'm pretty good, but I still sometimes make mistakes!

  2. I used to make a lot of mistakes, but not recently. Or I've been pretty lucky :)

  6. I also have been lucky this year. My worst book was read early last year. Since then I've been careful about what I read.

  7. Ya that is how it is for me. I sometimes wonder if I should branch out and read more outside my comfort zone. Since I've started blogging, I have picked up several books I normally would have passed by wiht out a second look. So far though I've like everything new I've tried.

  8. Yes, quite a lot of readers pick carefully and are rarely disappointed. Loved your cat pic, once again :-)

  9. I had to go back to March to find mine. I chose The Reader by Bernhard Schlink as my most recent BAD read. You can check out my thoughts here.

  11. I recently read a Harlequin Temptation by Vicki Lewis Thompson that I absolutely hated. It was Killer Cowboy Charm. I have read several of her books in the past and enjoyed them all so I was not worried when I picked up this one at all. Ugh I hated it. I have the review up on my blog at crysteena73.blogspot.com

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
