My Review
Patricia Fry came up with a wonderful idea for the 29th book in the Klepto Cat Mystery Series. It’s a bit of a break from the traditional cozy mystery and instead gives us a look at Ragsdale (aka Rags). This book is Rags’ meowmoirs as told by his human, Savannah.
Rags happens to be a klepto cat. What does that mean? Basically, he steals stuff from anyone. Anything that grabs his interest belongs to him. He doesn’t stop with just objects, he even takes some pets to be his own.
This book will give readers an insight as to how Savannah met Rags and what has gone on in both of their lives over the years. It’s a bit of a recap of the previous 28 books in the series without giving away too much of the stories. Savannah’s voice shares each anecdote with us as if she’s sitting around a campfire telling us stories.
I always enjoy visiting Savannah and her cat, Ragsdale (aka Rags). I have read the first couple of books, but haven’t had a chance to read the rest of the series, which I intend to do. It didn’t ruin anything for me jumping ahead to this book. It may even help new readers get acquainted with the series. Cat lovers will find this adorable.
It’s really a delightful bio of Rags and has me looking forward to more of his adventures.
